Busy January and its only mid month !

These are 2 of Jim's recent photos from the club. Lots of wildlife to see in the winter.

And here am I in my "wildlife ". My new Zebra seat covers help make my old lady car pretty snazzy !

I bet you want to ride in my Zebra car.

I put all the rugs in the back ....now my Wegmans bags don't slide around .

One of my new fun activities is the UB Women's Club ...here we are at a gourmet techniques class. Usually we meet at cooking schools or chef demonstrations. But here we went to a members home and they demonstrated pie crust making.

That of course meant we had to eat 5 different kinds of pie. She also served a lovely lunch. Maybe that's why its a new favorite activity !

Ok...last year I played Mother Theresa....this year I was asked to be Saint John Neumann.

The occasion was the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the order. We had a wonderful liturgy, fabulous steak dinner and the entertainment was acting out the history of the order.

This is an interview with the "103 year old " Sister Mary Francis.
It was a wonderful celebration.

And last......more notoriety ...last month Micki and I worked at Heathwood doing Garden Therapy. The activity staff member took photos and Micki and I made it into this months Heathwood newsletter.

Good thing its snowing today....I need to rest !
