The rose garden...yes, roses in March ! It was huge and all in bloom.
Then the circus museums...costumes, equipment, old photos and posters, miniatures...all wonderful.
We had this lovely photo taken on Venice Beach.....thought we might use it as a Christmas card...but then we remembered.... it was Ash Wednesday and we had just been to Church for ashes !
The water was so green and with the black rocks I thought I was in the Caribbean. All around us people were using metal nets to collect sharks teeth. Just a lovely day. My favorite place on the trip.
Oh yes, we had key lime pie at every stop....this piece came with a shark !Amazing sunsets and concerts at the beach every night...great fun !
